Yuan Shen, associate professor of Central Conservatory of Music, pipe organ and electronic organ performer, currently assumes the role of lecturer of core subjects in Central Conservatory of Music. She is also the first person to receive the doctor degree in the field of electronic organ. In this performance, Yuan Shen will introduce pipe organ via the combination of speech and performance, trace the origin of the instrument, interpret the sounding principle, and bring audience the relevant classical works.
