- The Program
This performance features outstanding participants from Family Concert. Limei He, graduated from Xinghai Conservatory of Music, had studied under the mentorship of harp performers Kun Qian and Dan Yu. She has collaborated with Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra, Yantian Symphony Orchestra, and other famous orchestras in Shenzhen. Xiaoci Chen, studying guzheng at Shenzhen Arts School, has won multiple youth competitions in Guangdong province. Liyan He, graduated from Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, won the golden prize of 2012 Beijing BIMFA International Concerto Competition and the Best Shostakovich Concerto Performance Award of 2016 Shenzhen Piano Open Competition. Yifan Zeng, successively graduated from Xinghai Conservatory of Music and Bowling Green State University, had won 1st prize of Shenzhen Duo Piano Competition. Program of the performance highlights Sonata for Harp by Dussek, Salut d'Amour, and Hungarian Dances Nos.1-7 by Brahms, to mention but a few.
