Presented by Jie Yuan, the lecture shares the experience of Yuan himself on learning the piano and the opinions on piano education. Jie Yuan, renowned pianist, one of Ten Pianists in China awarded by CCTV, has graduated from the Juilliard School of Music where he has achieved a doctor degree. Currently he assumes the director of Piano Department of Harbin Conservatory of Music. Annually, he gives approximately 120 concerts. And so far he has made stops in five continents, over 40 countries and more than 600 cities and has performed in major venues such as Carnegie Hall, Musikverein and National Centre for the Performing Arts.
