Shenzhen Concert Hall “Fly Over the Rainbow” Multiethnic Children’s Choir
Aiming at performing diverse world music, gathering children from various ethnicities, and targeting the high standard of choral art, Shenzhen Concert Hall “Fly Over the Rainbow” Multiethnic Children’s Choir was officially established at the beginning of 2019. The Children’s Choir constitutes Performance Group, Reserve Group and Enlightenment Group. Under the tutelage of a team headed by Shenzhen famous conductor Manxue Hu along with the powerful professional consultants from home and abroad, the Children’s Choir has obtained a systematic and comprehensive music education and rapidly developed into a top-level choir possessing a high starting point.

Conductor: Manxue Hu
Hu was born in a music family and began to study piano at six. From 1990-1997 she taught at Jiangxi Normal University piano department. Since 1997 she has been a faculty member of Shenzhen Senior High School and she was a founding member of the Shenzhen Senior High School Lily Children's Choir, in charge of piano accompaniment and stage choreographing. In 2005 she pursued further research at conducting department of Central Conservatory of Music under the tutelage of famous conductor and educator Hongnian Yang and young conductor Lin Chen. She was one of the ten recipients of the Excellence in Teaching Service and was honored "Women Pacesetter of Shenzhen" awarded by Shenzhen municipal government. She also won the Excellent Conductor Award of the 1st Choral Festival of Shenzhen.
