FANG Jinlong
Master of Chinese National Music, Collector of Musical Instruments
Representative of Contemporary Five-String Pipa
FANG Jinlong is a renowned master of Chinese national music, a collector of musical instruments, and the representative of the contemporary five-string pipa. FANG is a national musician who can play hundreds of musical instruments and also the founder of “Sweet Eighteen Art Troupe”, a modern national music troupe. Based on the five-string pipa of the Tang Dynasty, FANG has successfully restored and improved the five-string pipa, “the king of musical instruments” that was lost for thousands of years, into a contemporary one  that conforms to today’s aesthetics. For over 40 years, FANG has traveled to more than 50 countries and demonstrated the charm of Chinese national music in diversified and innovative ways, known as the watchman of traditional culture and like a philosopher towards his mission following the law of nature. He has been praised as “a one-man orchestra” by People's Daily and other domestic and foreign media for many times. With his excellent ability of the innovation and the promotion of Chinese national music, FANG has performed in Bilibili’s New Year’s Eve Gala "Rhythm’s World" and HNTV’s Spring Festival Gala, and other programs for two consecutive years, which became a hot topic among the public. FANG integrates traditional Chinese music with popular music, inspiring and driving a large number of young audiences to get in touch with Chinese traditional culture and fall in love with it, leaving a strong appeal and a wide influence among the younger generations. On July 28, 2020, the article "Let More Young People Appreciate the Beauty of Traditional Art" published by People's Daily fully affirmed and praised FANG Jinlong for his promotion and innovation of the traditional art. In 2021, FANG Jinlong attended CCTV’s online Spring Festival Gala, and was acclaimed as "the master of Chinese national music" by CCTV’s official media.
 

XUE Tianlong
Wind Music Performer
XUE Tianlong, a young Suona performer, is a distinguished teacher of Zhejiang Vocational Academy of Art and a member of Suona Socitey of China Nationalities Orchestra Society. He graduated from China Conservatory of Music with a bachelor’s degree and from Shanghai Conservatory of Music with a master’s degree. He is the initiator of “Tianlong Ba Bu” Folk Music Gathering and the deputy secretary-general of Hangzhou West Lake Musicians Association. In the third season of Grandeur of National Music in 2020, he became the team leader of the most popular team “Da Wei Tian Long”, which was led by the national music artist FANG Jinlong. In February 2021, he was one of the leading performers in the premiere of the show "A Commitment of Winter’s Dream" on Beijing Satellite TV to welcome the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.
 

Jusiqinbilige
Morin-Khuur Player, Khoomei Singer
Jusiqinbilige was born in Inner-Mongolia and graduated from School of Music of MINZU University of China. He can play morin-khuur, Mongol sihu, tsuur, tovshuur and other national musical instruments. He had performed Chinese music in the United States, New Zealand, Australia, Belgium, Hong Kong (China), Macau (China) and other countries and regions. In the third season of Grandeur of National Music in 2020, he became the main player of the most popular team “Da Wei Tian Long” led by the national music artist FANG Jinlong. In February 2021, he participated in the premiere of the show "A Commitment of Winter’s Dream" on Beijing Satellite TV to welcome the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.
 

Repikaiti Rexiati
Tambur Performer
Repikaiti Rexiati, a young tambur performer, studies at Xinjiang Arts University. He won the National Inspirational Scholarship and the Autonomous Region Scholarship for three consecutive years. He is the gold medal recipient of “Guo Yin (Chinese Music) Cup” National Instrumental Music Competition. He had participated in Dream Show program of Zhejiang Satellite TV and performed together with Nana Ouyang as a dream chaser. As a guest performer, he participated at the press conference of “I’m from Xinjiang” as well as the event of "China International Fashion Week". The national instrument version of the theme song of “Glory of the King” which was arranged by himself was funded and supported by the official website. He played as a guest performer with SING group in a Tencent’s program Hot We Are. In the third season of Grandeur of National Music, he served as the leader of the team “Repikaiti Rexiati” and led them to successfully advance to the top five. Later he became a team member of “Zhen Piao Liang” under the leadership of FANG Jinlong. He also participated in the sound and music production of the large-scale historical and humanistic documentary "The Historical Imprints of Xinjiang, China".
 

XU Shuo
Dizi, Xiao, Xun and Chi Performer
XU Shuo is a member of Jiangsu Bamboo Flute Association, Sichuan Bamboo Flute Professional Committee. He graduated with a master degree from the Sichuan Conservatory of Music where he studied bamboo flute under the guidance of Prof. CHEN Ran and Prof. YI jiayi. He can play such national musical instruments as dizi, xiao, luxun, etc. He won the silver award in the Youth Group B of the 1^st Jiangsu Bamboo Flute Competition in 2012, the gold award in the Youth Group A in the 2^nd Jiangsu Bamboo Flute Competition, and the gold award in the Professional Group A of the Asia International Music and Dance Competition in 2017. In 2019, he was invited to participate in the One Belt and Road Art Festival in Malaysia. In 2020, he performed in a special concert of ten-hole bamboo flute which was held at the Chengdu City Concert Hall. In the third season of the program Grandeur of National Music, he became the member of the most popular team “Da Wei Tian Long” which was led by the artist of Chinese national music – FANG Jinlong. In 2021, he appeared in the recording of the Spring Festival Galas of Hainan Satellite TV and Guangdong Satellite TV. In 2021, he participated in the premiere of the show "A Commitment of Winter’s Dream" on Beijing Satellite TV to welcome the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.
 

FU Shaobo
All-round Musician
FU Shaobo, a young percussionist, founded the Hani Group in 2012. He was invited to participate in the recording of “I’m A Singer” in 2016 and then appeared in the recording of the parallel session of CCTV’s Spring Festival Gala in Hulunbuir. He had joined the “Khoomei Caravan” – the first cultural exchange activity for Hong Kong graduates, and organized a tour of the northwestern region in China for the Hani Group. In 2017, he took part in the Heshigten Music Festival and planned a national tour for the Hani Group. In 2018, he appeared in the performances of “Memory 5D”. In 2019, he was invited to toure Eastern Europe for cultural exchange.
 

GUO Cong
Pipa Performer
GUO Cong, a young pipa player, graduated from the School of Music of the Minzu University of China.
He was the principal pipa player of the Central Minority Orchestra. He won the gold, silver and bronze prizes in domestic and international pipa compeititons such as “Dunhuang Cup”, “Liaoyuan Cup”, and the professional pipa competition in Melbourne, etc. He was also the recipient of the provincial first-class and second-class professional scholarships. He has visited Britain, Japan, Norway, Ireland, Philadelphia and other countries and regions for cultural exchange performances. He once held his first pipa concert "The Impression of Helan - GUO Cong's Pipa Concert" at the Minzu University of China, and held the "The Dream of Silk and Porcelain – GUO Cong's Pipa Concert" in Beijing's Tianle Grand Opera Theater. In 2020, he became the member of the most popular team “Da Wei Tian Long” which was led by the artist of Chinese national music – FANG Jinlong. In 2021, he was invited to perform for the recording of the Spring Festival Gala and the Lantern Festival Gala of Hainan Satellite TV. In 2021, he participated in the premiere of the show "A Commitment of Winter’s Dream" on Beijing Satellite TV to welcome the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.
 

LIU Yongjia
Erhu Performer
LIU Yongjia, a young erhu performer, was the first prize recipient in succession of the Erhu Group of the “Solo Singing, Solo Performing, and Solo Dancing Art Competition” in the three northeast provinces of China from 2005 to 2012. In 2018, she was first place of the unified examination for art majors in Helongjiang Province and first place in the national music category of Shangdong University of Ats. In 2019, she participated in the program “Chasing the Dream of Red Mansions” supported by the China Literature and Art Foundation and the Special Fund for Promoting the Development of China Literature and Art and held in the Capital Normal University, the National Center for the Performing Arts and Beijing Concert Hall. She was the gold prize winner in the Professional Youth Group of the “Belt and Road Sino-German Music Competition”.
 

HU Xiaoyang
Young Composer, Music Producer, Keyboard Player
HU Xiaoyang graduated with a bachelor degree in Electronic Pipe Organ Performance from the Piano Department and a master degree in Music Acoustics from the Music Technology Department both of China Conservatory of Music. He once taught the course of "Electronic Instrument Performance" at China Conservatory of Music. Since the September of 2016, he had been a teaching faculty of Beijing Long Island Foreign College of Music. In 2018, he co-founded a cultural technology company with Tsinghua Academy of Fine Arts as the music director, and co-developed a China's first robot national band "Mojia". His works include the online movie music of “Hero” and “Boys in the Girls’ School”, the game music of “God of the Time and Space”, the advertising music for Huawei Mate10, "Song of Wanda Song" A-capella, the music of the second and third season of the program Grandeur of National Music, to mention but a few.
