Violin: Xiao Liu
As one of the most well-known young violinists in China, Xiao Liu was recruited as a violin professor at the age of 24 by the Central Conservatory of Music. He has ever since then become the youngest violin professor and doctoral supervisor in the school. He studied under violin master Midori, a student of Dorothy Delay, and became a member of the well-known Heifetz Studio. He was also a student of Chinese violin educator Lin Yaoji. Currently, he is a director of the Violin Society of China Musicians Association. He served as the international judge of the 3rd China International Violin-Making Competition and the 9th International Youth Arts Festival in South Korea. He also served as the judge of the 25th International Music Competition in the U.S.
He has also acted as the image ambassador for “The Shoes of Hope” of China Charities Aid Foundation for Children. Because of his achievements, Xiao Liu won the Gold Medal of the United States Kansas Governor.
He was selected to be supported by the 2013 National New Century Excellent Talent Project and won Sumner Redstone Prize and the National Award for Distinguished Music Achievements. At 17 years old, he was crowned at the French MIDO International Violin Competition, and then pursued advanced studies at the world-famous Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique in Paris, France. In 2008, in the great influential First CCTV Violin TV Competition, he won the gold award.
So far, he has released five solo albums titled “Dance”, “Bowstring Mirage”, “From the Butterfly Lovers to Song of the Vagrant”, “Xiao Liu and His Friends” and “Niccolò Paganini’s 24 Caprices” respectively.
During his visit to China, the well-known violinist Gidon Kremer listened to his performance and said: “Your outstanding performance not only delights and surprises me, but also wins the love of the audience, which I can tell from their thunderous applause!” Another well-known violinist Pinchas Zukerman also calls Liu “Mr. Paganini”. The Japanese media comments that “such an outstanding young man with great ambition should be a shining example for the Japanese youth to follow”.
In 2006, he gave a solo for thousands of spectators including ambassadors from more than 190 countries at the Palais des Nations, the European headquarters of the UN in Geneva, Switzerland. He also appeared on the cover of Music Journal, a Thai mainstream classical music magazine. French State TV once recorded a documentary featuring Liu’s visiting performance in France and broadcast it to the whole country. Colombian State TV had shown live his performance. The well-known interview program Love Music of Beijing TV interviewed him to introduce his artistic career. So far, he has cooperated with over 40 orchestras worldwide.

Piano: Boyang Yu
Boyang Yu started learning the piano at the age of four. At the age of 12, he entered the Central Conservatory of Music Middle School and studied under Professor Yuanpei Lai. In 2011, he was recommended for admission to the Piano Department of the Central Conservatory of Music, where he studied under the guidance of Professor Taihang Du. In 2012, he won first place in the Allegro Vivo Festival in Vienna. In 2015, he was recommended for admission to the postgraduate program of the Piano Department of the Central Conservatory of Music and continued his studies with Professor Taihang Du.
