"Song of the Big Wind"
The symphonic oratorio "Song of the Big Wind" was written by Guoke and composed by Professor Chen Lechang, a famous Chinese composer. It premiered at the California Opera in 2011. In October, it will perform at the Guangzhou Opera House by the A-Sharp Chorus of USA, Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra, Shenzhen Opera and Dance Theater Chorus Opera Troupe, and Guangzhou Yangcheng Children's Chorus. The famous conductor and artistic director of the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra, Lin Daye, will be the conductor, and internationally renowned singers Li Xiuying, Yuan Lu, and Zong Shi, as well as American singer Fang Liya, are invited to sing solos. Many national instrument performing artists are also invited to perform on the same stage, with a total of more than 240 people on stage. Chinese and American Chinese choirs perform on the same stage with artists, with a star-studded, magnificent and magnificent performance. Two thousand two hundred years ago, the wind was blowing and the clouds were flying on the Central Plains. In the turbulent wind and clouds, Chinese history embarked on its own unique path. The first Emperor of the Han Dynasty, Liu Bang, killed a snake and started an uprising, which unified the fragmented country and united the people's hearts, realizing the political ideal of the ancient sages of "the whole world is unified", and creating the first prosperous era of our nation. The oratorio "Song of the Big Wind" unfolds a historical scroll that shines through the ages with music, touches the spiritual bond that closely ties the motherland, explores the unique traditions of our nation, and displays the core values of our nation that have survived all the hardships.
