Ning Feng, Violinist (China)
Prize-winning violinist Ning Feng’s technical brilliance and poetic, expressive interpretation of great masterworks make him one of the most exciting players of his generation. Apart from winning various prestigious prizes, Ning was the first prize winner of the 2006 International Paganini Competition. As a soloist, he has performed with renowned orchestras such as Russian State Symphony.
Dong Suk Kang, Violinist (Korea)
Dong Suk Kang won top prizes in a number of international competitions including the Montreal and the Queen Elisabeth in Brussels. Since then, he has appeared with many great orchestras of the world including those of Philadelphia, Cleveland, Los Angeles, San Francisco etc.
Vladimir Mendelssohn, Violist (Romania)
Vladimir Mendelssohn has appeared all over the world as a soloist and chamber musician in concert halls and music festivals. Mendelssohn has served as the Artistic Director at Finland’s Kuhmo Festival since 2005. In addition, he is a professor of chamber music at the Paris Conservatoire. He gives master classes regularly across the world.
Andrew Ling, Violist (Hong Kong, China)
As an active soloist, chamber musician, and principal violist of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, Andrew Ling has travelled across continents and performed with renowned musicians such as Cho-Liang Lin, Jaime Laredo, Trey Lee and has been invited as a guest artist at the prestigious Banff Centre in Canada.
Jan-Erik Gustafsson, Cellist (Finland)
Winner of the 1986 Eurovision Young Musicians competition and 1994 Young Concert Artists International Auditions, Gustafsson has performed as a soloist across the world with orchestras such as the London Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonics of St. Petersburg and Helsinki, and Radio Symphonies of Berlin etc.
Colleen Lee, Piano (Hong Kong,China)
Hailed by the New York Concert Review as“an extraordinarily talented young pianist”, Colleen Lee is one of the most brilliant Chinese pianists today. She is a laureate of the 15th International Chopin Piano Competition, the 16th Santander International Piano Competition, and the Gina Bachauer International Artist Competition.
Rachel Cheung, Piano (Hong Kong, China)
Rachel Cheung has taken top honors at the 16th Leeds International Pianoforte Competition in the UK, the 28th Alessandro Casagrande International Piano Competition in Italy, and the 67th Geneva International Piano Competition. A rising star in classical music, Cheung has performed across continents, including at the Celebration of the 100th Anniversary of Vladimir Horowitz Concert in Kiev.
