Piano Award-Winners Concert by Chen Guangquans Students

Chen Guangquan graduated from Sichuan Conservatory of Music. In 2001, he was awarded the Masters Degree and became a teacher at the Conservatory. The same year, he held a piano recital to warm acclaim.

Chen has been working as TA with Dan Zhaoyi, the renowned piano pedagogue since May 2002. Under his instruction, many of his students have made remarkable progress and won various prizes at domestic and international piano competitions, including 5 First Prizes in Japan, Germany, Croatia, and Indonesia etc. 24 students have won prizes at domestic piano competitions.

Besides teaching, Chen Guangquan is devoted himself to the research of teaching theories. He has published several theoretical articles and arranged some music works for two pianos which won good acclaim.
