About Weng Huihui

The young pianist Weng Huihui is the postgraduate of the piano department of the University of Music and the Performing Arts Vienna. She is one of the most promising talents in the class of Prof. Wolfgang Watzinger. She started learning to play the piano at the age of four. With the well-attended cultivation of Prof.Huang Tiandong, she enrolled to the affiliated middle school of Xinghai Conservatory of Music in 1995, and studied piano with Prof. Li Siying. In 2001 she graduated with honors and ranked first at the entrance examination of the Joseph Haydn Conservatory in Eisenstadt (Austria).She studied with Ralf Heiber there. At the autumn of 2003, she was admitted to the University of Music and the Performing Arts in Vienna. She was the only Chinese student from Mainland that attended the Piano Performing Art and was awarded the scholarship as well. In recent years, she holds active performance on stage frequently. She holds recitals and other concerts in Austria and China. Just as the recommendation of Professor Heinz Medjimorec,Her technique has a solid and stable basis. She is really a competent musician with a broad knowledge of styles and special feelings of sound colors. A secure memory and a convincing presentation on stage are additional positive aspects of her performances.”
