NEW PHILHARMONIA HAMBURG
  Located in the most beautiful city of northern Germany – Hamburg, The New Philharmonia Hamburg (NPH), is one of the most outstanding new generation Orchestra in Germany. Its appearance adds to the color of the ancient North Germany folk music factions. Its members are mainly from Germany to Europe’s most outstanding professional musicians, and they are committed to promoting the different styles of European countries from the classical period to the modernist chamber music and symphony works. The NPH is now home to the most famous Hamburg, Laeiszhalle.
Over the past 14 years, the NPH has performed more than a thousand concerts around the world, with a wide range of repertoire and diversity, inspiring the whole industry. And most of the works are received and recorded by the German 12 radio and TV stations.
Since 2003, the NPH has swept through most European countries with its own charm, especially and mainly in Germany, France, Britain, Italy, Switzerland and Spain in which had held in some special concerts at Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra Amsterdam, Lucerne Symphony Hall, Zurich Tonhalle Concert Hall, Dresden Sambo Opera House, Berlin Philharmonic Hall, etc. Specifically in 2006, the NPH has cooperated together with Busan Metropolitan City Chorus with Mozart Requiem for North Germany tour. Since then, the NPH gained the remarkable achievements with 90 symphony performances each year among the ranks of first-class orchestra.
Vladimir Yaskorski, current and permanent conductor, joined the NPH in 2004. He is one of the brightest conductor s of Germany, and he used the unique insights to create the orchestra’s magnificent atmosphere of artistic style effectively, making the Orchestra’s performing skills become more perfect. In the classical music factions, the works of performing of Vivaldi, Mozart, Beethoven, Shostakovich, and Tchaikovsky are particularly popular. In recent years, he mainly devoted to opera performance. The guest conductor: Roberto Seidel, Ernst Bartel, Mike Steurenthaler, Ulrich Windfuhr.
Since the establishment, the NPH, with its extraordinary performance, has been fascinated by countless audience. The NPH uses a rich track to ensure the diversity of its performance. One of the purposes is to inspire those who may not have access to classical music before. For the 2017 & 2018 Chinese New Year Concert, the NPH will bring its selection of Chinese New Year repertoire to Chinese audiences!

 

Ulrich Windfuhr
The conductor Ulrich Windfuhr is considered to be one of the big talents of his generation - praised, not only for his accuracy and presence of mind but also for his captivating verve and his indulging sense for sound. Born in Heidelberg, he grew up in Düsseldorf, and started to take piano lessons at a very early age. 1978 he studied music at the university in cologne; for his main subjects he chose master classes with Günter Ludwig (piano), Volker Wangenheim (conducting) and the Amadeus Quartett (chamber music).
1985 he was prizewinner at the International Conducting Contest Vittorio Gui followed 1986, by the International Conducting Contest Janos Ferencic in Budapest.
1986 he joined the Theatre Dortmund as Solo Pianist/Accompanist and Assistant Conductor, 1989 he became Assistant Conductor and Head Accompanist in Augsburg, 1990 he was first Kapellmeister at the "Staatstheater Nürnberg" and worked with the "Niedersächsische Staatstheater Hannover" as first Kapellmeister in 1993. 1995 he was appointed Deputy Head Conductor at the "Badische Staatstheater Karlsruhe", a year later he acted as Provisional Music Director.
Between 1998 and 2003 he was General Music Director in Kiel. There he acquired international attention with productions such as "Die schweigsame Frau", and "Die Liebe der Danae" (Richard Strauss), a cycle of Franz Schreker Operas and "Ring des Nibelungen" by Richard Wagner.
He conducted numerous concerts in Germany, Switzerland, Hungary, Italy, The Netherland and the USA...; He was also guest conductor at renowned German Theatres such as the "Deutsche Oper Düsseldorf - Duisburg", the "Theater Bonn", the "Nationaltheater Mannheim" and the "Deutsche Oper Berlin".
For CPO Windfuhr recorded "Flammen", "Das Spielwerk und die Prinzessin" and "Christopherus" (Franz Schreker) as well as "Donna Diana" by Emil Nikolaus von Reznicek and "Die Liebe der Danae" by Richard Strauss. Further recordings with the "Holland Symfonia" are in preparation. He has also performed in broadcasting for NDR, WDR, DLF, ZDF and others. 2002 he was nominated Conductor of the year by "Opernwelt"; 2003 he received not only the Diapason d’Or and the Choc de la musique for his recording of "Das Spielwerk und die Prinzessin" but also the German Grammaphone critics prize. In quick succession he received the Orphee d’Or for the recording of "Die Liebe der Danae" in 2005.
2007 Ulrich Windfuhr was offered the chair of conducting at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" Leipzig.
In autumn 2013 Ulrich Windfuhr takes over the Chair of Conducting and Orchestral Conducting at the University of Music and Theatre in Hamburg, among other duties Ulrich Windfuhr will be constantly working with the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra.

Violinist: Yuhe Li
   Yuhe Li is recognized as one of the youngest Chinese musicians on the international stage today, praised as "an truly brilliant Artist" by the Global Times, performing internationally in Europe, Asia and North America. She has performed at lots of famous Concerthall, such as Wiener Musikverein, Beijing Concert hall, Toronto Center of the Arts, Théâtre Pierre Cardin in Paris, Salle Cortot in Paris, Theatre modern Takatsuki in Japan.. and has been invited to perform at renown festivals.
As a native of Beijing, Yuhe made her first public appearance at the age of nine at Beijing Concerthall. At age of 15, she entered the middle school attached to Conservatory of China under class of Yuan Fang. Three years later she was awarded the Fu-Ji Scholarship to study with Devy Erlih at Conservatory of Paris. In 2012, she won the first prize in the highest level of the France "les Clés d’Or" violin competition in January, and in June she obtained the High Diploma of Performing with first prize, then she won the third prize of Osaka International Music Competition in October. In 2014, she entries University of Art Berlin on master solo degree under class of Prof.Bernhard Hartog. In April she got the diploma of Concertiste (Artist) of Conservatory of Paris with the prize that all the jury agreed with unanimous approval. In 2015, she won the first prize and gala prize of Léopold Bellan international violin competition. In 2016, she won the 2nd prize of London Virtuoso grand prize international violin competition.
As a brilliant soloist, Yuhe LI has performed with famous orchestra, such as Toronto Festival Symphony Orchestra, Beijing Golden Sail Symphonieker, Beijing Chamber Orchestra, Jakarta national Symphony Orchestra. She has also performed as guest Principal Concert Master in Bavarian Group Orchestra. Yuhe Li has recorded several album, such as “Harmonic”, “Caprice Valse” and so on. Since 2016, she did a concert tour in NCPA China,Beijing concert hall, Tianjin Grand Theater, Haerbin Grand Theater, and also did lots of master class in Peking University, Qinghua University, Renmin University… Since 2017, Yuhe LI has become a violin teacher at Conservatory of China. Now she plays a Gennaro Gagliano in year of 1760 and the bow from James Tubbs of year 1890.
