Meng Zhi Lv (Journey of Dreams) Vocal Trio
Consisting of the famous principal backup singer Zhong Huichang, pop singer Chang An, and renowned Baritone Wu Zheming, Meng Zhi Lv Vocal Trio Ensemble is probably the most famous mixed trio ensemble in China.
The three vocalists have so far released a series of crossover albums entitled The Floating Melodies featuring the golden melodies that present a blend of pop singing, Bel Canto and Chinese folk singing style. Those melodies float into the audiences heart like trickling streams and remind us of the old good days worthwhile reviving.
Yan Yang Tian (Bright Sunny Day) Vocal Duo
Yan Yangtian (Bright Sunny Days) Vocal Ensemble consists of vocalists Chen Qian and Liu Donghong.
Soprano Liu Donghong graduated from the China Central Conservatory of Music. With her sweet and soft voice, Liu was dubbed Golden Throat on the music scene in South China and her singing style of the new folk songs is especially popular among the audience. Liu is also a frequent prize winner at many singing competitions.
Chen Qian is a First Class National Actor and one of the most competitive lyric tenors in South China. He is specialized in China folk songs, especially Guangdong folk songs. He performs with his delicate voice and natural vibration which deeply touches the audience. His vocal performance can also be found in the documentary film Hakkas, which received warm acclaims both in China and abroad.
