Performed by Bei Chen and Yuchen Zhang, the performance highlights the Chinese musical works such as Ode to the Yellow River and China My Love to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. Bei Chen, young pianist, has completed his postgraduate education on piano performing at the Hochschule fuer Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin, and currently assumes the lecturer of Shenzhen University Music Department. He has been invited to perform a piano recital at Shenzhen Concert Hall. Yuchen Zhang, young tenor, has successively graduated from Central Conservatory of Music in China and New England Conservatory of Music in the U.S. He has performed as the major roles of Yevgény Onégin and other opera works at venues such as National Centre for the Performing Arts, Shenzhen Concert Hall, and Catania Theatre among others.
